Coast Funds operates the www.coastfunds.ca website. It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website.

Website visitors

Like most website operators, Coast Funds collects general information that is typically provided by browsers and servers, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Coast Funds’ purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Coast Funds’ visitors use its website. From time to time, Coast Funds may release this general information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its websites.

If you submit a funding application or inquiry, we ask you to provide details such as your name, email address, telephone number, and details as outlined in the funding program’s application form. We use this information to evaluate your application and to make a funding decision.

You may wish to receive information about funding programs, announcements, important events, and economic development news in the Great Bear Rainforest and Haida Gwaii region of British Columbia, Canada. If so, you will be asked to provide your name, e-mail address, and location. If there is any use beyond contacting you using such information, you will be advised of the intended uses at the point that you are being asked to provide any additional contact information.

Enter a contest, offers, or promotions

To provide you with contests, promotions or special events, you may be asked to provide us with your name, address, and e-mail address information, as well as to confirm that you are of the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside. You may be asked to provide additional information in order to qualify for such contests or promotions. We will also use your personal information to award prizes if applicable. Soliciting your opinion, surveys, and feedback

To assist us delivering funding programs and initiatives that meet the needs of communities in the Great Bear Rainforest and Haida Gwaii regions of British Columbia, Canada, we may solicit your opinions and feedback concerning our funding programs, project stories, conservation initiatives, and economic development projects in the region; you may be asked to provide e-mail address information, as well as name, postal address, occupation, and the name of your organization, if you have not already done so, as well as the opinions and feedback itself.

Career opportunities

You may be able to submit your resume and other information online to apply for a job with Coast Funds. We use the information you submit to evaluate your interest in employment and to contact you regarding possible employment with the company.

Refer-a-friend

If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our websites, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site.

Coast Funds may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites.
